Workspace and Adobe Team Up

Google and Adobe have partnered to bring the latter’s Creative Cloud to Docs and Slides.

The combination will give users access to Creative Cloud Libraries from within Google Workspace, expanding a partnership that started last year with Gmail.

The pair also announced Adobe Creative Cloud for Chrome – an extension for the Chrome browser that lets designers search the web for colour patterns and designs that can be transported into their own work.

Matthew Izatt, Group Product Manager for Google Workspace, said: “These new integrations between Adobe Creative Cloud and Google Workspace and Google Chrome let creatives focus on what they do best: ideate, create, and innovate.

“Creative teams of one or 100 have fast, seamless access to the digital assets and editor tools that bring their work to life, and they’re ready to capture inspiration from the web whenever and wherever it strikes using Google Chrome”

“We’re committed to boosting creative collaboration in Google Workspace with Adobe as a trusted partner.”

The announcements build on previous integrations made by Google and Adobe. Last year Adobe XD was integrated into Google’s Flutter development platform, before Creative Cloud was added to Gmail.
