Q-SYS has launched its VisionSuite Training Certification to upskill students in AI-based intelligent audio and video collaboration.

The VisionSuite Training allows students to train on the fundamental Q-SYS VisionSuite technologies to develop proficiency in commissioning AI-based intelligent AV collaboration experiences across various use cases.

The comprehensive training certification consists of four courses, addressing intelligent video-based presenter tracking and intelligent audio-based camera switching.

Patrick Heyn, Vice President of Marketing at Q-SYS, commented:

Q-SYS VisionSuite Certification is not only a testament to our commitment to making curriculum enjoyable, targeted and accessible but to our end customers, who will be the first to experience these kinds of next-generation Q-SYS systems. Our students will walk away from this certification feeling confident and fully prepared to deliver a world-class collaboration experience as only Q-SYS systems can deliver.”

“Level One” courses for both experience disciplines are available on-demand and feature real-world insights and high production value, consistent with Q-SYS’s on-demand training curriculum. “Level Two” courses are conducted in person by experienced application engineers, either in the field or in Q-SYS “Experience Centers”, which focus on best practices and peer learning exercises.

Students pursuing Q-SYS VisionSuite certification can select either intelligent audio training or intelligent video training as their starting point, depending on which path is more relevant to their customer’s installation needs. This approach allows them to focus on the area that aligns most closely with their immediate requirements while working towards completing all courses required for certification.

Q-SYS’s 2024 So Far

In January, Nureva joined the Q-SYS Technology Partner Programme, allowing its products to integrate with Q-SYS and streamline audio control and camera tracking.

The program enables technology companies to develop market-ready solutions seamlessly integrated with Q-SYS, a cloud-manageable audio, video, and control platform. Nureva introduced a Q-SYS-certified plugin for its HDL310 and HDL410 audio conferencing systems (the HDL Pro series), offering audio control enhancements to simplify the remote experience.

Meanwhile, in February, Sennheiser and Q-SYS’s combined solution — their audio, video, and control (AV&C) Platform — was certified for Cisco Collaboration Devices.

This certification illustrates the integration of Cisco’s Collaboration Devices with Sennheiser’s TCC 2 and the Q-SYS Core Nano processor, bolstering audio connectivity and intelligent control functionalities in modern meeting and learning spaces. Cisco Collaboration Devices perform as the video conferencing service, providing robust computing power to support diverse collaboration scenarios.

Finally, last month, Q-SYS launched its Q-SYS Control for Zoom Rooms App, streamlining its interface and enhancing its control features.

IT admins can now seamlessly activate third-party room controls via the new app, which is compatible with all supported Zoom Rooms controller consoles. This enhancement augments the existing functionality of the Zoom Rooms Controller by integrating a Q-SYS user control interface (UCI), enabling users to manage a range of room devices and services linked to the Q-SYS Core Processor, including displays, lighting, shades, and HVAC systems.
