Kramer has announced its acquisition of UK-based collaboration services provider Ashton Bentley.

Both businesses assert that Ashton Bentley’s solutions enhance Kramer’s current offerings by providing an integrated and seamless approach. This strategic move allows Kramer to deliver a comprehensive audio-visual experience, encompassing a coherent, end-to-end approach to hybrid conferencing.

Kramer stresses that the move illustrates a critical step in its three-year strategy to enhance its portfolio of UC and collaboration products and services.

Kramer’s 2024 So Far

K-array announced a new Kramer Control plug-in for its Kommander amplifier range in March.

Kramer Control is an enterprise-class, cloud-based control and management solution that provides IT and AV managers with a streamlined method for controlling, monitoring, and supporting AV systems, infrastructures, and third-party devices. By integrating Kramer Control’s complete API, the new driver significantly enhances the integration capabilities for K-array’s flagship Kommander range of amplifiers.

Meanwhile, in February, AudioCodes announced a partnership with Kramer to offer complete Microsoft Teams Rooms Solutions, which it said would “redefine” meeting experiences and AV-enabled hybrid work environments.

AudioCodes contributes its Teams Rooms products and AI-powered voice applications to the partnership, while Kramer offers its innovative audio-visual solutions. The combined solutions include video bars, compute units, speakers, DSPs, switching, cable management, AI recording and analytics for Teams meetings, and more. This collaboration aims to provide a comprehensive and integrated experience for Teams Rooms, enhancing productivity and meeting efficiency.
